p1.All members are reminded that CCMC will not be accepting ANY patients from font color0000ffstrong1800 hours 04-02-2005 until 1800 hours 04-03-2005strongfont. All members are asked to be mindful of the fact that transports to Delaware or Philadelphia may be considerations if call volumes are high. pp2. Members are further reminded that flash floods are expected in our areas until 0800 hours tomorrow. Rain accumulations are expected to be anywhere from 1.5 to 3 inches with heavy down pours at times. Members who can make the sacrifice and stay at the firehouse during the night are encouraged to do so. With regards to the weather situation and the fact that CCMC will be closed the BLS crew is requested to follow the medic unit strongfont colorff0000REDUCED SPEEDfontstrong to calls in our first due local. If the nature is determined to be BLS the BLS unit should take the transport and keep the ALS truck in the local during this time. There exists a high possibility that the City EMS units could be on Transports to hospitals much further away. With this in mind taking our ALS transport unit out of the area when it is not needed will leave our residents potentially without a close ALS unit. pp3. All members are asked to use extreme caution when driving to the firehouse for calls or when operating the apparatus. Stay away from large pooled areas of water and stay on main roadways when possible. Avoid soft ground surfaces and be alert.p
