FONT facearial helvetica sans-serifAt around 0330 hours on 03-24-2005 Co. 45 63 65 E57 and LA43 for the RIT were dispatched to the unit block of W. Garrison Rd. for a house fire. The police arrived and found a working fire on the second floor of the house. 45-9 Chief Iacono Arrived and found a two story twin with smoke showing. TAC45 under the command of Lt. Matt Didomenico and a staffing of 4 responded first. Upon arriving FF. Jesse Didomenico and FF. Rob Powers advanced a 1 to the second floor and stopped the fire almost at its point of origin. The crew from R45 arrived right behind TAC45 with a staffing of 4 as well. Deputy Chief John Albany and EMS Captain Joe Alonso went to the second floor and assisted with advancing the hose and ventilated the second floor. R63 arrived next and performed a primary search of the fire floor and salvaged the first floor for the homeowner. The fire was under control and the RIT team was returned. The company was restored a short time later with no serious fire service injuries. Everyone did a great job.FONT
